The last words of Jack Daniel were a good representation of the whiskey distiller's famous drink.
Ask anyone and they'll most likely have heard of Jack Daniel's, the famous whiskey. Indeed, the name on the bottle isn't just of the drink, but also of the original man to distil it.
Jack Daniel was born on September 5, 1850, and founded the company that produces the famous Jack Daniel's whiskey in 1875.
He died on October 10, 1911, after falling ill with blood poisoning. Unconfirmed rumor tells that Daniel got the infection after breaking his toe when he kicked his safe in a fit of anger. Reportedly, he often had trouble remembering the combination to it.
His famous last words were: "One last drink, please."
