Queen Of England Owns A Mcdonald’s

you know we all love a McDonald’s. There’s just something magical about perusing the McDonald’s menu and getting riled up for what’s to come. But we never thought the Queen would be a girl after our own hearts when it comes to fast food…

Believe it or not, the Queen owns a McDonald’s!

According to Business Insider, the Queen's McDonald's restaurant is located at the Banbury Gateway Shopping Park in Oxfordshire, about 80 miles from her home at Buckingham Palace.

So how does this work exactly? Well, this particular branch of McDonald’s is on land that forms part of the Crown Estate, which is property owned by the Sovereign. Therefore, that is very much the Queen’s McDonald’s.

Prince Charles will be happy to learn that this Maccas will be passed down to him when takes the throne. I mean, what a sweet deal: you’re king and you own a McDonald’s. Talk about living the dream, Chaz!

If the Queen ever fancies popping down to her branch of McDonald’s to get a Filet-o-Fish meal and a McFlurry, she’ll be living it up in luxury as the restaurant is set up with leather sofas, digital menu boards and posh Eames chairs.

This isn't the first time a McDonald's branch has been on land owned by the Queen as she used to own the Bath Road Retail Park in Slough, which had a McDonald’s located on it. But she sold the land for £177 million in 2016.

Just think how many Big Macs you could buy with £177 million…
