wheelchair to help disabled goldfish

A “kind-hearted” pet owner has built a “wheelchair device” to help his disabled pet goldfish swim.

Henry Kim, 32, from Seoul, South Korea built the unique device after several of his pet goldfish died from an illness called swim bladder disorder.

The ailment causes fish to float upside down or to sink to the bottom of their bowl.

The aquarium enthusiast, who keeps over 20 goldfish in three different tanks in his house, used plastic components to create a flotation device which he calls a ‘wheelchair’.

The fashion designer said his invention was the result of hours of research and online tutorials.

Mr Kim said: “Swim bladder disorder can be caused by many reasons such as overeating or unclean waters.
