Dwayne Johnson Gym

Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson travels. A lot. From Jumanji to Bay Watch to his upcoming Hobbs movie, he’s one of the busiest (and most shredded) Hollywood stars around.

But if you think that The Rock works out in whatever gym is in his current area, think again—he has his own “traveling carnival” of a gym, as he puts it. Apparently, his crew's in charge of setting up over 40,000 pounds of steel and iron everywhere he goes to shoot for movies, according to one of his most recent Instagram videos.

“Every morning at 5 a.m. I get up and I come here to my iron paradise," he said in the video. "There’s over 40,000 pounds of twisted steel, sex appeal, and heartache. A lot of heartache—mainly my own."

The Rock said he's grateful to the hundreds of people in his crew for always setting up his “Iron Paradise," especially since he admittedly called himself a "pain in the ass" since he has to have the energy flow just right when it comes to the equipment placement.

The tented gym comes equipped with rows of machines along with a few flags hanging in the back, with one representing America and two representing the Air Force and Marine Corps. As for a bathroom, he probably doesn’t need one since he pees in a bottle during his workouts.

“It’s my anchor, plus traveling in a gym like this eliminates all the bullshit excuses not to get the job done and get to work,” he said.

Behind the Scenes with The Rock:

The Rock is currently in Vancouver finishing up his last day shooting Skyscraper, in which he’ll star as a war veteran who assesses security for skyscrapers. He said his next location will be Hawaii to shoot Jungle Cruise. If you want to workout like The Rock, incorporate some of his moves into your routine.
