MS Dhoni came up with yet another gem of a stumping behind the wickets as the former Indian skipper took less than 1/10th of a second to stump West Indies’ batsman Keemo Paul on a score of 19 off 18. He collected the ball as soon as it crossed the stumps and just moved his hands to make a contact with the stumps, finding Paul just a centimetre or two short of his crease. Dhoni was confident that Paul was out and the replays also confirmed that Paul has to walk back to the pavilion.
The biggest surprise was that event Ravindra Jadeja, the bowler, confirmed with Dhoni if he is confident of catching the batsman short. With this effort, Dhoni once again showed that his ability to finish off the things with the bat may be over but he is still is the best as far as wicket-keeping is concerned.
